The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F�nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: _
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement �
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. - ,
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
• to grade a.nd surface with bituminous material the alley in Block �+, Weed and Iawrence's
' Addition; Block l, Elder Addition; Block l, University Avenue Addition; and Block l,
Fr�nk_?in Addition from Mi.lton St. to Chatsworth St. Also constructing a public
'sewer from the a11ey to Thomas Ave: in a.n easemettt to be obtained on, under and
� across the kesterl,y 2' of Lot 4, Block l, University Avenue Addition and the easterly
2' of Lot 1, Block l, Elder Addition. �
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 5��9�+�2�+ � � •
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 23rd day of `
June,-196�+ , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building•in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of �
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
