under Preliminary Order 21.7392 approved April 7, 196�+
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Com��issioner of F`inance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
• is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. "
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and ta,ke a.n easement in the land necessary for the slopes� cuts and fills,
� including right of removal of lateral support from sub�ect land or remainder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading and sur-
facing with bituminous material BARCLAY STRE�� from Minnehaha Avenue to Rea.ney Avenue
in accordance sri.th the blueprint hereto atta.ched a.nd made a part hereof, the hatched
portions showing the cuts a,nd the shaded portions-showing the fi11s.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 25•00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on thP 23xd day of _
June, 1964 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber o� the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Comrriissioner of F�nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner pronided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. �
