WI�REAS, the �ity of Saint Paul heretofore entered
into a contract with D�ebold, Inc. to furnish certain items
of inechanical filing equipment on lease to' the Public Safety
Department; and . -
, WHEREAS, inaluded under the provisions of said contraet
was a provision pursuant to whieh Diebold, Inc. was required
to f�rnish a platform to the Public Safety Department for
.�' • use with such mechanical filing equipment; and
W�EREAS, the Fubl�c Safety Depar�ment has determined
that it is not necessary or desirable to use said platform
with the filing equipment and l�as requested a modif3.cation
of said contract to provide for the elimination of suah
platform, and Diebold, Inc. is agreeable to such mod�.fication
of contract; and
_ WHEREAS, such modification of the contract will result
� in a reduction of the cost to the City under the terma of
said contract, in the amount of $319.�+�+; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby�
authorizes modificsation of said contract by elimination of the
filing equipment platform and a corres onding reduct�.on in the
�
amount of_ the contrac� price of $319.4��.
