Resolved, That based upon the introduction of Ordinance C.F.
No. 220141, entitled "An ordinance granting permission to Northern States
Power Company to excavate and enclose existing area under street and side-
walk on the south side of Kellogg Boulevard, 261 - 5" east of the Market
Street property line," temporary permission may be and hereby is granted
to said Northern States Power Company to remove sections of the reinforced
concrete sidewalk and pavement slab for the installation of removable steel
grates in steel frames and for additional excavation of the existing area
under the street to be enclosed with concrete block walls on the south
side of Kellogg Boulevard, 26' - 5" east of the east property line of
Market Street, as set forth in said ordinance, upon acceptance by said
Northern States Power Company of all terms and conditions of said ordinance,
including the filing of said acceptance in writing with the City Clerk
and the furnishing of the bond in said ordinance required, and that upon
filing of such acceptance and bond, the Commissioner of Public Works may
issue a temporary permit to said Northern States Power Company notwith-
standing final passage, approval and publication of said ordinance.
