RESOLUTION
SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Chapter 41 of the Saint Paul Adminisirative Code sets forth the process for allowing eu�loyees of the
Ciry of Saint Paul to solicit funds and/or property for any employer-related or occupational-related purposes; and
WHEREAS, in those cases involving solicitations in the amount of five hundred dollazs ($500.00) or less, the Mayor or
designee, or the council as a whole or designee, or any deparunent head or desi�ee may solicit funds on behalf of the city or on
behalf of any city-sponsored function or organizarion and in those cases involving solicitations of more than five hundred dollars
($500.00) only the mayor or designee or the council as a whole or designee of the council can make such solicitations; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the Mayor wishes to solicit vendors to participate in sponsoring the 2006 Winter Carnival
Mayoral Receprion wluch will be held on February 4, 2006 at ffie Lowry Theatre wluch will be economically beneficial to local
azea businesses and hospitality establishments.
WHEREAS, such solicitarion may exceed $500.00, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that Ted Davis of Davis Communicarions, Consultant, is hereby designated as the individual who may
solicit funds on behalf of the Office of the Mayor for the 2006 Winter Carnival Mayoral Reception being held on February 4,
2006.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the final report of all solicitations made by Ted Davis will be provided to the city clerk,
mayor and each councilperson.
