Resolution Approving Assessment By—
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon File No. 15495
'in the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for improving ST. PAUbAVENUE
from Edgcumbe Road to Montreal Avenue by regrading and paving 2 -32 foot roadbeds with
an 8 inch one course concrete pavement; by grading and sodding a 12 foot center island
and boulevard areas; by constructing curb; by grading and paving street, alley and
driveway returns; by reconstructing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on intersecting
streets where not in conformity with said improvement; by reconstructing storm water
drainage facilities; by constructing gas service connections where necessary; and by
doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
Also for improving ST. PAUL AVENUE from Montreal Avenue to Cleveland Avenue and
CLEVELAND AVENUE from St. Paul Avenue to Ford Parkway by widening the existing 2 -27
foot roadbeds on the island side to 2 -32 foot roadbeds; by constructing a new con-
crete base in the widened area and constructing an asphaltic concrete surfacing ver
the full roadbed widths; by reconstructing curb where necessary; by reconstruct�i g
storm water drainage facilities; by constructing gas service connections where
necessary; by reconstructing the paving, uurbing and sidewalks on the intersecting
streets where not in conformity with said improvement; and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.

The assessment of benefits., costs and eXenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 21st
day of October, 1964 _ , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, and the amount assessed against the lot or lots of the particular
owner to whom the notice is directed.
