PAUL FILE ONCIL ;NO. j OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK I COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONER DATE WHEREAS, examination is to be given for the position of "Civil Defense Information Officer ", and WHEREAS, it is highly unlikely that a sufficient list can be 1 established from among residents of the City of St. Paul, and WHEREAS, it is highly desirable that competition be extended to 1964 graduates of the University of Minnesota and other local colleges, even though they are not residents of the City of Saint Paul; therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission to examinations as provided in Section 10 D of the Civil Service Rules are hereby waived for the first examination held for the title of "Civil Defense Information Officer" to be held following passage of this resolution; date of the examination.to be set at the discretion of the Chief Civil Service Examiner.
