COUNCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fair Employment Practice
Commission, with the advice and consent of the Mayor, jointly
sponsored the 16th - Annual National Conference of Commissions
for Human Rights held in Brainerd, Minnesota, June 14 - 18,
1964, at Maddents Pine Beach Lodge, hosting representatives
from 36 state and 55 municipal agencies; and
WHEREAS, Saint,_Pa_u1- "Fair Employment Practice Commis=
sionts share of such -joint sponsorship necessitated the expen-
diture of funds to secure Warrald Boles as guest speaker and
Miss Doris French as a clerical assistant; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the Comptroller be authorized and is
hereby directed to pay Madden's Pine Beach Lodge the sum of
$143.00 as necessary and reasonable expense incurred by the
Saint Paul Fair Employment Practice Commission at said con-
ference for said speaker and clerical assistant, out of Fund
No. 0994.
