06-766Council PSIe #�lp Green Sheet # 3p 3 1 S b� ��� RESOLUTION SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented by 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 WHEREAS, pursuant to Council File #86-ll24 and CouncIl File #98-669, residenrial permit pazldng was previously instituted on behalf of the residents residing in the University of St. Thomas College aze in accordance with Chapter 168 of the Saint Paul Legislarive Code; and WI�REAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul previously found that the aforementioned residenrial azea did not have sufficient off street parldng to accommodate the residential pazking needs of the residenu as well as the pazking needs of non- residents who use non-residenrial faciliries in the area wlrich lack sufficient off-street pazking; and WHEREAS, the University of St. Thomas as pioperty owner has subsequently submittzd a perition cequesring that certain pemrit pazldng restricrions be removed on this block; and WHEREAS, Public Works staff has invesrigated the basis for the peririon and concluded and recommended adoprion of the changes requested in this perition; NOW THEREFORE BE IT I2ESOLVED, that the following parking regulations shall be removed in the residential azea near the Umversity of St. Thomas as follows: Remove No Pazking SAM-8PM Monday-Friday Except by Pemut, Area 22 pazking regulation on the following Block: The south side of Sunmiit Avenue from Finn Street to 120' east from in front of 2110 Summit.
