WHEREAS, in the matter of the construction of the ADRIAN STREET
SEWER LINING, Comptroller's Contract L -66653 Peter Lametti Con-
struction Company contractor, the specified date of completion
is August 15, 196, and
WHEREAS, said contract was. scheduled to be completed before the
excavation work for the West Seventh Street Bridge over Interstate
35E Highway was started by the Contractor for the State Highway
Department, and
WHEREAS, the excavation work by the Staters Contractor will not be
done until after October 1, 1964, the Peter Lametti Construction
Company has requested an extension of time from August 15, 1964
to October 1, 1964 in order to coordinate their operations, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has no objection to such
time extention, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract
extending the tlime of completion to OCTOBER 15 1964, provided,
however, that this resolution shall have no force or effect unless
the sureties on the contractor's bond consent thereto in writing,
and file such consent with the City Comptroller, and be it
