RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
1000 - 3/4T1 Arctic disc type Cold Water Meters, Less Couplings to the Water
Department, Meter Shop, 289 No. Hanline Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota to
ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #9950 of said Rockwell Manufacturing Company
for the contract price of $41,490.00 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving
the option of increasing order not to exceed twenty per cent) such bid being
the lowest meeting specifications and said Rockwell Manufacturing Company being
a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby
is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper
City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the
City of Saint Paul.
