In the Matter of constructing a public sanitary sewer in RUTH STREET from Hilding
Avenue to 129 feet south of Hilding Avenue and in HILDING AVENUE from the terminous
of the existing sewer aboutl-30 feet west of Ruth Street to Ruth Street; also construct
a storm sewer in RUTH STREET from Upper Afton Road to 124 feet south of Hilding
Avenue; all of which is to be known as the RUTH- HILDING SEWER SYSTEM,
under Preliminary Order 2192 -36 approved July 1.5', 1964
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and, the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to construct a public sanitary sewer in RUTH STREET from Hilding Avenue to 129 feet
south-of Hilding Avenue and in HILDING AVENUE from the terminus of the existing
sewer about 30 feet west of Ruth Street to Ruth Street; also construct a storm
sewer in RUTH STREET from Upper Afton Road to 124 feet south of Hilding Avenue;
All of which is to be known as the RUTH- HILDING SEWER SYSTEM.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $S •orm Sewer $,..2,656.56

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
September, 1964 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of {
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
