RESOLVED, That upon the report and recommendation of
the City Valuation.-Engineer and pursuant to Section 303 of
the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, the acquisition of
the property known as 721 Euclid Street and legally described
as:
Lots eighteen (18) and nineteen (19), Block one (1),
Wilder & Dodge's Subin of Bk 48 of Lyman Dayton's
Addition, according to the plat thereof on file
and of record in the Office of the Register of
Deeds in and for Ramsey County,•Minnesota;
hereby is approved and ratified, and the proper City officials
are hereby authorized and directed to pay to R E H Investment Co.,
owner of said property, and to Ronald J. Wilcziek and Marilyn C.
Wilcziek, contract purchasers of said property, the sum of
8,600.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid parties from
Fund 3700 -501 upon their furnishing an abstract of title, con-
tinued to date, evidencing good marketable title in R E H Investment
Co. and upon tender by the owner and contract purchasers of ap-
propriate deeds conveying said property to the City free from
encumbrance, said property to be used for the proposed Van Buren
Playground as a replacement for the Bluff Playground which was
taken bylthe State of Minnesota under appropriate condemnation
