Gentlemen:
I have examined the attached petition of remonstrance, filed in the
matter of constructing new sidewalk on both sides of Finn Street
from Ford Parkway to Hartford Avenue, and wish to report as follows:
Amount of frontage involved in said improvement - 2976.43 ft.
Amount signed for on said petition - 1551.47 ft. or 52%
(Amount required by Charter - 5090)

Number who'signed said petition - 12.5 or 52%
(Amount required by Charter 15 or 60%) _
From the above facts you will note that the petition of remonstrance

To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under consideration the pre-
liminary order of the Council known as Council File No. 217545
approved_ April 15th. 1964 relative to constructing new sidewalk on
—both sides of Finn St. from Ford Parkway to Hartford Ave. and by doing all other work
which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby
reports:
1. The estimated cost thereof is $- 3.25 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $3.80 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk 6 f �; 144
