WHEREAS, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Improve-
ment described as the Resurfacing of JACKSON STREET from the North
Right- of- Wayjline of the Great Northern Railway to Acker Street;
ACKER STREETifrom Jackson Street to Cortland Place and the Grading
and Paving of CORTLAND PLACE from Acker Street to Sycamore Street,
Comptrollerf's Contract L -6623, Pederson Bros: Company, contractor,
have been provided for in the specifications, and
WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to make the following Additions:
ADDITIONS
5.0 lin. ft. of catchbasin construction and
manhole reconstruction . . . . . . . @ $20.00 $ 100.00
28.0 cu. yds. of Class 4 gravel backfill. @ 1.60 44.80
1 - manhole opening in sidewalk . . . .@,, 25.00 25.00
Total Addition $ 169.80
and
WHEREAS, the total Addition is $ 169.80, now ther of ore, be it
RESOLVED that the City-of St. Paul through items City "Council approves
the foregoing Addition made in accordance with the specifications
in the sum of $ 169.80, said amount to be added to the consideration
named in the contract as adjusted and known as Comptroller's Contract
L -6623, which amount is to be financed from County Aid Funds, 1963.
�- The Commissioner of Public Works has agreed /G11e above named
Contractor that the amount of $ 169.80 is the correct sum to be
added to the above contract.
