WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul,
in cooperation with the Water Department of the City of Saint
Pau 1, has constructed and installed a water main in the east
boulevard of Robert Street between Fillmore and Plato; and
WHEREAS, as a consequence of said construction
and installation, the sidewalk on the east side of Robert
Street between Fillmore and Plato was completely destroyed; and
WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint
Paul has agreed with the Public Works Department that it will
reimburse the City of Saint Paul for all costs incurred in
restoring said sidewalk; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Department proposes to
accomplish said construction work in cooperation with the
District Contractor for District No. 3 of this City, therefore
be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
that it hereby authorizes the Public Works Department to
proceed with the necessary construction work in restoring
the sidewalk on the east side of Robert Street between Fillmore
and Plato, by agreement with the Port Authority of the City
of Saint Paul, upon the condition that the Port Authority of
the City of Saint Paul agrees to reimburse the City of Saint
Paul for all costs incurred in the said construction work
at the time of its completion; be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Saint Paul that it hereby further authorizes the Public Works
Department to construct a 5 -foot sidewalk on the north side
of Fillmore Street from Robert Street to State Street,
said constuction to be accomplished in the same manner herein
outlined, and the costs of said construction to the City of
Saint Paul to be reimbursed by the Port Authority of the City
of Saint Paul; this resolution tsa be effective from and after its
