WAEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, in Council File No. OS-637, adopted
an interim ordinance regulating official controls within a limited area of Ward 7 as specified
therein; and
WfIEREAS, Mr. Tenance Schmit has proposed to build an attached deck at his
residence on property commonly known as 601 Burlington Road; and
WHEREAS, the Cpuncal finds that the said proposal is in keeping with Ghe underlying
intent of Council File No. OS-637; And Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves an
amendment by subsequent adoption to Council File No. OS-637 for the purpose of permitting Mr.
Schmit to apply for zoning and building pernuts for the puipose of buiiding an attached deck to
his residential structure on property commonly known as 601 Burlington Road, whlch is located
within the boundaries of an interim ordinance created under the said interim ardinance and that
the appropriate City agencies are hereby authorized to process and, if necessary, approve such
applications in the manner provided by law; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, pending the formal passage, approval and effective date of
the amendment to Council File No. OS-637 providing for the said actions noted above, the
appropriate City agencies may act upon Mr. Schmit's applications as if the said amendment to
the said Council File has already taken effect.
