RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized and directed to issue a permit jto Saint Paul Hockey, Inc.
for a team parade of the Saint Paul Ranger hockey club on October 8,
1964, the parade to form at 11:30 A.M. at Fourth and Auditorium
Streets and continuing until 1:30 P.M. using the following described
route:
Fourth'and Auditorium to Bobert, Robert to Eighth,
Eighth to Cedar, Cedar to Third,I Third to Minnesota,
Minnesota -to Sixth, Sixth to St.;Peter, St. Peter to
Kellogg Blvd., Kellogg Blvd. to Wabasha, Wabasha to
Seventh, Seventh ,.Jackson, Jackson to Fourth,
Fourth to Auditorium.

and appropriate action the enclosed request by the St. Paul Hockey Club
for a parade permit.
I understand a formal Council resolution is required in this
instance under requirements of Sec. 130.09 of the Legislative Code of
this city. As you will note, time is extremely short and we would therefore
appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

I�apply for a permit for a St. Paul Ranger hockey team parade
during the noon,hour, Oct. 8, 1964.
With your approval, the parade would form at 11 :30 a. M.
at Fourth and Auditorium, using..,the block adjacent to the
Auditorium. It probably would facilitate formation is parking
were permitted on the north side of this block beginning at
9:30 a, m, and continuing until 1:30 p. m.
According to present plans, the parade would not exceed two blocks
ins length.

It', would include a fleet of convertia�bles, possible a band on a
flatbed truck, the Fire Demon fire - engine with Rangermen and
Rangetettes, and other similar units. All would be mobile
motorized units. A derinite report on units will be furnished
you two days previous to the parade.
We,sugjgest the following route: Fourth andAuditorium to Robert,
Robert to Eighth, Eighth to Cedar, Cedar to Third, Third to
Minnesota, Minnesota to Sixth, Sixth to St. Peter, St. Peter
to�Kellogg blvd., Kellogg blvd. to Wabasha, Wabasha to Seventh,
Seventh to Jackson, Jackson to Fourth, Fourth to Fourth and
Auditorium for disbandment.
