The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the abone improvement, and having considered said report, hereby reaolves:
1. That the said report a.nd the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. � -
' 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Crnzncil recommends is �
to reconstruct the sidewa,lk on both sides of Good.rich Ave, from Western Ave. to .
Harrison St.; bn �he north side; an.d to Richmond St. on the south side and by
doing all other work which is necessary and inciden.tal to complete said improvement,
exeept where good. and sufficient sidewalks now exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3•25 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
$ 3.80 per lin. ft. for 6' walk �
Resolved Further, Tliat a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �3rd day of
JuJ.y, 1964 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
I3ouse and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of �nance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and�in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost"thereof as estimated.
