3 WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against all the licenses held by Hamline Amoco, Inc., d/U/a
4 Hamline Amoco (License ID #20010001557) for the premises located at 1347 University Avenue West in
5 Saint Paul, by Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated June 9, 2006, alleging licensee failed to pay
6 delinquent license fees and late fees; and

8 WHEREAS, the licensee did respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to contest the
9 allegation or pay the delinquent license fees and Iate fees; and

11 WHEREAS, Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to contest the
12 allegation by June 20, 2006, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the
13 recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it

15 RESOLVED, that all the licenses held by Hamline Amoco, Inc., d/b/a Hamline Amoco are hereby
16 suspended.

RE: All licenses held by Hamline Amoco Inc., d/b/a Hamline Axnoco far the premises located
at 1347 Utuversity Avenue VJest in Saint Paul.
License ID #: 20010001557
Daar Sir/Madam:
The Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection has recommended
suspension of all licenses held by Hamline Amoco Inc., d/6/a Hamline Amoco for the prexnises
located at 1347 University Avenue West in Saint Paul. The basis for the recomnaendation is as
follows:
According to License, Inspection and Environmental Protection records you
are delinquent on all of your licease fees. There have been numerous
invoices sent to you over the last several months requesting payment and
they have not received a response or payment from you. Your license fees
have been delinquent since March 28, 2006.
The total amount now due in order to make your license fees current is
$765.00 which includes all of the late fees. -
At this time, you haue three options on how to proceed:
1. If you wish to continue to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you can pay the
delinquenf license fees and lates fees fo the Office of License, Inspections and
Environmental Protecfion at 8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Pau1, Minnesota
55101-1002 no later thau Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Information should be directed to
_ the attention of Christiue Rozek. A self-addressed envelope is enclosad for your
` convenience. Payment of the fine will be considered to be a waiver of the hearing to
which you are entifled.

2- If you wish to have a public hearing before the Saint Paul City Council, you will need to
send me a Ietter with a statement admiriing the facts and requesting a public hearing. VJe
will need to receive your letter by Tuesday, Jnne 20, 2006. The matter will fhen be
scheduled before fhe City Council far a public hearing to detennine whether to suspend
your licenses. You will l�ave an opporiwufy to appear before the Council and make a
statement on your own behalf.
If you no longer wish to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you may send a written
statement to that effect to the Office of License, Inspecfions and Environmental Protection,
8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Paul, Mi.unesota 55101-1002 no later than Tuesday,
June 20, 2006. Information should be directed to the attenfion of Christine Rozek.
If you have not contacted me by that date, I will assume that you do not contest the
suspension of your licenses.
