RESOLVED, That Roffers Land & Acceptance Corporation,
owner of the subject premises, be permitted to install and operate
a 76 -car customer parking lot on property located at the northeast
corner of Grand and Fairview Avenues, more particularly described
as Lots 11 through 16, inclusive, Block 3, Elmer & Morrison's
f(earrangement of part of Macalester Park, in accordance with
final plans dated November 17 1964; subject to the condition
that the Traffic Engineer shall review the proposal and in the
event the two proposed driveways off the adjoining public alley
create a traffic problem or hazard the City Council would have
the right to eliminate such openings; further subject to the
condition that said applicant- permittee, and its successors
and assigns, shall make due compliance with all applicable
City ordinances, State statutes and rules and regulations of
public authorities having cognizance.

Dear Sir:
This is in reply to the referral of the application of the Roffers
Land & Acceptance Corp. for a permit to install and operate a 76 car
customer parking lot on property located at the northeast corner of
Grand and Fairview Avenues which is described as Lots 11 tbru 16 incl.
Block 3, Elmer & Morrisons rearr. of part of Macalester Park. The
property is zoned commercial.
The Board of Zoning considered this matter at its regular meeting
on October 8, 1964. The staff reported that the property is zoned
commercial and that the perking lot =plans meet the standards for this
type of facilityTh The Engineer zn`'eviewititg t15is proposal -
stated that in t e even he two proposed driveways ofi'— ad-joi
ing public alley which will provide both ingress and egress for the
parking lot create a traffic problem or hazard, the City Council shall
have the right to eliminate such openings so as to cpmpletely separate
the alley from the parking lot.
In consideration of these factors, the Board of Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit for a 76 car,customer parking lot on the
above described property in accordance with final plans dated Novem-
ber 17, 1964.
