RESOLVED, That Kleen Car Corporation be permitted
to construct and operate a coin - operated car wash on property
located on the south side of Rose avenue between Prosperity
Avenue and Barclay Street, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of Rose
Avenue 100 feet-east of the east line of Prosperity
Avenue, thence south at right angle to the south
line of Rose Avenue 125 feet; thence east at
right angle 120 feet; thence north at right angle
125 feet to the south line of Rose Avenue; thence
west along said south line of Rose Avenue to the
point of beginning in the north I of the NWJ- of
Sec. 27, T. 29N. R. 22W;
in accordance with final plans dated December 2, 1964; subject
to the condition that said applicant= permittee, and its
successors and assigns, makd due compliance with all applicable
provisions of City ordinances7.State statutes and rules and
regulations of public authorities having cognizance.

Dear Sir:
This is in reply to the referral of the application of the Kleen Car
Corporation for a permit to install and operate a coin - operated car
wash on property located on the south side of Rose Avenue between

Prosperity Avenue and Barclay Street which is described as follows:
beginning at a point on. the south line of, -Rose Avenue 100 feet east
of the east line of Prosperity Avenue, thence south at right angle
to the south line of Rose Avenue '125 feet; thence east at right angle
120 feet; thence north at right angle 125 feet to the south line of
Rose Avenue; thence west 'along said south •line,of Rose Avenue to the
point of beginningti'n the north j -of the NW I -of Sec. 27, T. 29N, R 22W.
The property is zoned commercial and is located within the Phalen -
Shopping Center complex.
The matter was considered by the Board of Zoning at its regular meet-
ing on September 24, 1964. The staff reported that the plans met all f
of the standards for this type'of, facility as required under Chapter 60.23
Section 6 of the Legislative Zoning Code. The Traffic Engineer reviewed
the proposal and recommended its approval. On September 29, 1964,
the City Council granted an informal approval of the application. In
consideration of these factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the
granting of the application to construct and operate a coin - operated
car -wash on the above described property in accordance with final plans
dated Deceinber 2, 1964.

for permit to install and operate a coin - operated car wash on the
property described as: beginning at a point on the south line of
Rose Avenue 100 feet east of the east line of Prosperity Avenue;
thence south at right angle to the south line of Rose Avenue 125 feet;
thence east at right angle 120 feet; thence north at right angle
125 feet to the south line of Rose Avenue; thence west along said
south line of Rose Avenue to the point of beginning in the north 1/2
of the northwest 1/4 of Section 27, Township 29N., Range 22 west. The
property is located on the south side of Rose Avenue between Prosperity
Avenue and Barclay Street.
