The property is zoned commercial and is located within the Phalen - Shopping Center complex. The matter was considered by the Board of Zoning at its regular meet- ing on September 24, 1964. The staff reported that the plans met all f of the standards for this type'of, facility as required under Chapter 60.23 Section 6 of the Legislative Zoning Code. The Traffic Engineer reviewed the proposal and recommended its approval. On September 29, 1964, the City Council granted an informal approval of the application. In consideration of these factors, the Board of Zoning recommends the granting of the application to construct and operate a coin - operated car -wash on the above described property in accordance with final plans dated Deceinber 2, 1964.
