RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing Incandescent, Fluorescent and
Mercury Vapor Lamps to the City of St. Paul (and County of Ramsey) to TWIN SIGN SUPPLY
COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #9993 of said Twin Sign Supply Company effective on date of City Comptroller "s
countersignature on contract for period of one year OR at the option of the Purchasing
Agent a contract price of approximately $40,000.00; with 46.157o discount on Incandescent
and Fluorescent Lamps and 45.6576 discount on Mercury Vapor Lamps, (in broken or standard
$15.00 packages), such bid being the lowest meeting City specifications and said Twin
Sign Supply Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the
proper officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of St.Paul and County of Ramsey.
