CI'I`I' OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA

1 WFIEREAS, the Truth-In-Sa1e of Housing (TISI� Exaxnining Board adopted a Resolurion
2 which permanently cancelled Ronaid Staeheli's TISH Evaluator's license; and
4 WHEREAS, pursuant to St. Paul Legislative Code Section 189.11, Ronald Staeheli filed an
5 appeal requesting a public hearing before this Council for putposes of reviewing the TISH
6 Board's fmdings; and
8 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council duly conducted a public hearing on Mr. Staeheli's
9 appeal and, based upon the record of the Board and all of the testunony and records at the
10 public hearing, the Saint Paul City Council adopted a Resolution affarming the Board's
11 decision to permanently cancel Ronald Staeheli's Truth-In-Sale of Housing Evaluator's
12 license; and

WHEREAS, Ronald Staeheli has appealed the Saint Pau1 City Council's decision to the
Minnesota Court of Appeals; and
WFIEREAS, Ronald Staeheli has requested a stay of the Saint Paul City CounciPs decision
affirming the permanent cancellation of his license; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds no basis for granting Mx. Staeheli's request for
a stay; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby denies
Ronald 5taeheli's request for a stay of the decision to permanently cancel his license as a
Truth-In-Sa1e of Housing Evaluator for the City of St. Paul.

After conducting disciplinary hearings regazding complaints against Ronald Staeheli's conduct and reports he prepared, the Truth-In-
Sale of Housing (TISH) Board peruiauently cancelled Ronald Staeheli's TISH Evaluator's license. Ronald Staeheli appealed the Board's
decision, and the Ciry Council affirmed. Ronald Staeheli has appealed this matter to the Minnesota Court of Appeals and xequests a
stay of the City Council's decision during the pendency of ffie appeal.
