WF3EREAS, Comptrollert s Contract L-6583, for the construction
of the BATI'LE CREEK SANIT,ARY SEWER SYSTEM, South Interceptor,
Hurley Construction Company, contractor, has been substantially
completed, and
WHEREAS, said Contractor requests that a portion of the 15,�
retained under the contract from estimates for work done,
be pa3d in advance of the final completion of the contract,
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner and Chief Engineer of the Departmelt
of �ublic Work� approve the payment at this ti� of � 16,000.00
of t}.�e � 18,781.3'j retained, ther�fore be it •
RESOLVED, That the proper city officials be and they are hereby
author ized to pay an e s timate in t he arr�ount of � 16,000.00
from the retained percentage of � 18, 781.37 to said contractor,
and be it .
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall have no force or
ef�ct unless the sureties on the contra.ctor t s bond consent
thereto and file such consent in writing� with the City
� Comptroller. �
