 Dear Madam;
This is in reply to the referral by the City Council of the application
of the Hubbard Broadcasting Inc. for a permit to install a 29 car. off-
street customer parking lot and basement garage on property located at
the southwest corner of Berry Street and Charles Avenue. The property
is described as that part Sly of Charles Avenue of Lot 10, Auditor's
Sub. # 9 and parts of Lots 7 and 8 Auditor's Sub. # 9 and is zoned light
and heavy industry.
The subject property is already improved with the 29 car off-street parking
lot which is used in conjunction with a basement garage in the adjoining
building to the west. The applicant is now requesting Council approval
of this installation: The site has a frontage of 88.5 feet along the
south side of Charles Avenue and 270 feet along the west side of Berry Street
and results in an area of approximately 23,895 square feet.
The Board of Zoning considered this application at its regular meeting
on December 19, 1963 anl after hearing the staff report that the park-
ing lot plan meets all of the required standards, and has also been
approved by the Traffic Engineer, recommends the granting of a permit for
a 29 car off-street parking lot and basement garage on the above described
property in accordance with plans approved December 19, 1963 as reflected
in final plans d9 64_.`;
Sincerely,
 r 1
