WHEREAS, on December 2�, 1963, Richard E. Tufo,
Patricia Tufo, Shirley Erdman and Dorothy L. Campbell having
petitioned for vacat3on of the following described real estate,
to-wit: .
That part of Rosalind Place lying between
St. Paul Avenue and the southwesterly lines
of Howell Avenue and Edgeetzmbe Road, except
� so mueh thereof as lies within a strip of
land which strip is the extension of the
alleya in Blocks 8 and g, '$ohland� s Edgecumbe
Hills";
the Council, under Council File No. 27.5971, voted unanimoualy to
vacate the above described premises; and
WI�REAS, it now appears that a portion of said vacated
Rosalind Place abuts park properties owned by the City of Saint Paul
and that a portion of said vacated Rosalind Place might, by operation
of law, accrue to and become a part of said park property; and
WHEREAS, petitioners, and each of them, have complied
with tY�e conditions required for said vacation; now, therefore,
be it

N RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul does her�by bargain
• � and se11 the vacated portion of Rosalind Pla�e as above described

Rosalind Place as abuts eertain park properties, said con-
veyance to be given ico petitioners herein; and be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That nothing herein contained
shallh_ amend; vary or in any way change the intent and
conditions expressed in Council File No. 215971, save and ,
except that this Resolution is adopted to clarify the intent
of �he Council to sell all of vacated Rosal3.nd P1aee to
petitioners and to authorize conveyance thereof, notwithstanding
that part of said Rosalind Plaee may have become part of certain
abutting park properties, by operation of law, and that this
Resolution is adopted in conformance with Chapter 579, La.ws of
Minnesota for the year 19�F7, dealing with alienation of park
properties of this City.
