; The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner af Finance
upon the above impravement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and� the same is hereby appraved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is�
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and f311s,
including right of re�val of 1.ateral support from sub�ect land or remai.nder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construet3.on of slopes in the grading andsurfac-
ing with bit�inous material SYLYAN STREET from Arlington Ave. to Cotta,ge Ave.� in

said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by th� Charter, stating the time and place af .
