To the Commissioner of Finance of the City of St . Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works , having had under consideration the pre—
liminary order of the Council known as Council File No. 215929
approved Dec . 20th, 19 63 relative to reconstructing the side—
walk on both sides of Chestnut St. from W. 7th, St. southeast to the
ChicaQO, St. Paull� hfinn. � Omaha gailroad and replace with an integral
curb—sidewalk and by doing all other work ivhich is necessary and inciden—
� tal to complete said improvement.
and having investigated the matters and things re�ferred to therein, hereby
reports:

1. The estimated cost thereof is $•3. 80 per lin, ft, for standard_
sidewalk 6 ft. wide and $10. 00 per lin. ft for 5" monnlithic inteqral
