THE COUNCIL OF- THE, CITY" OF SAINT-PAUL ODES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6 -446, approved January 23, 192511
as amended, be and the same is- hereby further amended by striking out of
Section I the subsection: ''G" an "H", and "E" and "F11,, and by substituting in lieu•I
thereof new subsections E" and "OF" to read as follows:
"E Assistant to the City Architect -- Notwithstanding the provisions �
of Section I, of Ordinance No. 6446, as amended, upon the effective
date of this ordinance and thereafter the standard wage applicable
to the position of Assistant to the City Architect shall be Stan-
dard Range 76, the salary range thereby appertaining to said
position being within the range of $1051 to $1254 per month,
the incumbent in said position to be paid at the highest step
within said range.

Assistant Research Analyst- Notwithstanding the provisions of
Section I of Ordinance No. 6446, as amended, upon the effective
date of this ordinance and thereafter the standard wage applicable
to the position of Assistant Research Analyst shall be Standard
--Range 62; and the salary that shall attach to such position shall
hereby further amended by striking out of Section III M the following titles: _

VII. Separability
10.35. General separable clause.
"It is the intention of the city council that
this ordinance, and every provision thereof, shall
be considered separable; and the invalidity of any
section, cruse, provision, or part or portion
of any section, clause or provision of this
ordinance shall not affect the validity of any
other portion of this ordinance."
�1 Commissioner Loss moves that the proposed ordinance, Council File 218135,
amending Ordinance 6446, be amended as follows:
That Section I be amended to read:
Section I. That Ordinance No. 6446, approved January 23, 1925, as
amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out
of Section I the subsections "G, " "H," "E," and "F" and substituting
in lieu thereof new subsections E. F, G and H.
"E." Assistant to the City Architect - Notwithstanding the provisions
-} of Section I of Ordinance No. 6446, as amended upon the effective
date of this ordinance and thereafter, the standard wage applicable
to the position of Assistant to the City Architect shall be Standard
Range 78, the salary range thereby appertaining to said position being
within the range of $1115. 00 to $1331. 00 per month, the incumbent in
said position to be paid at the highest step within the range.
"F. " Assistant Research Analyst - Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section I of Ordinance No. 6446, as amended, upon the effective
date of this ordinance and thereafter the standard wage applicable to
the position of Assistant Research Analyst shall be standard Range 62;
and the salary that shall attach to such position shall be within the range
from $695. 00 to $829. 00 per month, and the incumbent shall be paid at
the highest step within such range.
"G. " Architectural Designer - Notwithstanding the provisions of Sec-
tion I, upon the effective date of this ordinance and thereafter, the
standard range applicable to the position of Architectural Designer
shall be Standard Range 60; and the salary that shall attach to such
position shall be within the range from $655. 00 to $782. 00;-aper month,
and the incumbents shall be paid at the highest step within such range.
"H. " Public Buildings Technician III - Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section I, of Ordinance No. 6446, as amended, upon the effective
date of this ordinance and thereafter, the standard wage applicable to
the position of Public Buildings Technician III shall be Standard Range
60; and the salary that shall attach to such position shall be within the
range from $655. 00 to $782. 00 per month and the incumbent shall be
paid at the highest step within such range.
