WH�REAS, the Board of �ducation of the City of Saint Paul,
being responsible for the supervision of the constructim and also
for the maintenance of the school buildings of Special School
District No. 2 , said School District being the public school
system of the City of Saint Paul; and
- WHEREAS, said Board of Education has caused to be constructeci
the new building appropriately designated as Aarding High School�
around which there are presently no sidewalks; and
WHEREAS� the safety of the school public and other citizens �
_. of the commuriity would be well served by the installation of
public sidewalks at or around the said Harding High School�
_ now� therefore� be it I
RESOLVED� that the Coun.cil of the City of Saint Paul� i
cognizant of the cost and expense involved, does hereby request I
the Board of �►;ducation of the City of Saint Paul to construct I
appropriate sidewalks at and around the si-�.e of Harding High
