' The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F`inance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: - _
1. That the said"report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and'the said improvement
- is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. - �
2. That the nature of�the improvement which the Council recommends is j
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for slopes� cuts and fills, �
including right of remova,l of ].,ateral support from sub�ect land or remainder thereof, �
occasioned by excavations thereof,or construction of slopes in the grading a.nd sur-
facin� with bituminous material the aLley in Block l, H. H. Thompson's Addition � _ ,
from DeSoto Street east to turn around, in accordance with the blueprint hereto
attached and made a part hereof, the l�atched portions showin.g the cuts_and_the
