THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
'Section 1. Tht Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13, 1935,
as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out the
specifications for "Supervisor of Recreational Activities°, and by inserting
in lieu thereof the specifications: m File No. 217184--ordinance No.

Duties and respons bilities:
Under direction, . Ito plan, organize and direct city-wide and district-
wide recreatibaal programs; to supervise employees responsible
for the activities at the City's playgrounds; to see that playgrounds,
buildings and .facilities are maintained and kept in repair; and to
perform` related work as assigned.

recreation center groups participate.
To see that policies and directives of the department are carried out.
To prepare work and time schedules and to recommend personnel
assignments.{
To see that areas, facilities and equipment are properly kept and
maintained. f
To work cooperatively with community and neighborhood agencies in
the interest 'of the City's recreation program.
To analyze and' evaluate reports from subordinates and to prepare

To assist in laying out recreation centers and athletic and sports
areas, and fo recommend improvements in the layout of present
areas.
