The Council of the C�ty'of St. Paul having received the report bf the Commissioner of Finance
upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: �
1. That the said report-and.the same is hereby approved and adopted, a.nd the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. � � . •
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cauncil recommends is -
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the southeast side of Scudder St. from Atty St. to
Bl.ake Ave. an.d by doing all�other work�which� is necessary arid incidenta,I to complete �
said improvemen.t, except where good, and sufficient sidewalks now exist • '

with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 per 1in. ft. �for 5' walk

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the l�+th day of
.P,pril,_],964 � , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of -
said meeting to the peraons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place o�
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
