under Preliminary Order . 21585� approved December 17, 1g63
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F`inance
upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report,_ hereby resolves:
• 1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement �
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. •
' 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is .
to reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Highland Parkway from Clevel.and Ave.
to Finn St. a.nd by doing al.l work which is necessary and incident.al to complete
said improvement, except where good and. sufficient sidewa7lis now exist
with no alternatives, and that the eatimated cost thereof is $ 3•25 I�r lin. ft. for 5' walk
. $ 3.80 per lin. f�. for 6' walk
` Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the � 7th � day of
April� 1964 ; at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the tot�al cost thereof as estimated." �
