The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of F�nance
upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and' the same is hereby approved and adopted, a.nd the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. _ '
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cauncil recommends is
to grade� and surface With bit�i.nous material the alley in Pease Brothers Rearrange-
ment;�of Block l, Hersey & Woolsey Addition from Pierce Butler Route north to
railroad right-of-way �
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ l,007.�5
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on thP 7th dap of
April, 1g64 � , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber o� the Court
House and City Hall Building in the �ity of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, stating the time and place af
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. � �9��
