WHEREAS, The above four arte�ial streets accommodate traffic volumes of approximately 5,000, 7,000, 22,000 and 11 ,000 vehicles per day respec- tively, and � ' WHEREAS, Approxlmately s1x to eight trai�s operate on this track per day, and WHEREAS, The existing warning to the motorists consisting of ad- , � vance signs, pavement raarkings and rail�oad crossbucks is not sufficient � because of the relatively high volumes and speeds on these arterial streets, and �'� . WHEREAS, Standa�rd railroad signals have been installed at many grade crossings similar to• the four described above, and ' .
