�" ���� I� WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Parks and Recreazion has a cooperazive paztner in the Capito] Re�ion Watershed Distnct (CRWD); and

3 4VHEREAS, the CRWD has offered to enter into a 57,000 agreement with Pazks and Recrearion to be used toward funding a natural resource

6 WHEREAS, the nafural resources intem will work on Como Shoreland restoration maintenance, natural azea and wildlife surveys, invasive
7 plant monitoring and control, water-quality educarion and interptetation, and parriciparion in andlor lead'mg volunteer naturai resources
8 acrivities; and

10 4VHEREAS, Parks and Recreation is willing and able to staff this posirion; and

12 WHEREAS, the Mayor, puTSUant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does cerhfy thai there aze available for
13 appropriaAOn, funds of 57,000 in excess for those esrimated in the 2006 budget;
