RESOLUTION
OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA
Presented by
1 WHEREAS, The Clean Air Partnership, a registered charity of Canada, invited Anne Hunt, Aid to the
2 Mayor, to speak as part of a panel discussion at the 2006 Smog Summit at Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and
4 WHEREAS, The Clean Air Partnership offered to reimburse the city an estimated $1,000 for the cost of air
5 faze and lodging for Ms. Hunt to attend and speak at said event; and

7 WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, does certify that upon acceptance
8 of the gift from The Clean Air Partnerhship there are funds of $1,000 available for appropriation in excess

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following changes to the 2006 Budget:

22 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul,
23 accepts the contribution from the Clean Air Partnership.

25 FINALLY RESOLVED, that the City Council determines this to have pubiic purpose and approves these
26 changes to the 2006 Budget.
