WHEEEAS, the Council of the City� of Saint Panl, by resolution C.F.
No. 204527, approved October 26, 1961, did authorize the payment of
�187.75, in full payment of damages s�.stained by John A� Connolly, in ,�-'�
an acciden� on September l, 1961, with Donald A. Smith and� Paul Paulos,
policemen, w�.ile in the performance of the official duties, and
WHEIiEAS, General Motors Corpora�ion and Champion Chevrolet Co. , have
' now agreed to reimburse the City of Saint Paul in the sum of �62.58 each
,' as paymen�G of' their share of contribution in the above claim of Jo�n A.
Connolly; now, therefore, be it
gESOLVED, that the proper City officers are authorized and are
hereby direc�ed to execute a releaset� GenEral Mo�ors Corporation� and
Champion Chevrolet Co. upon the� payment to the City of Saint Paul, by
each of the above, the sum of �62.58 as reimbursement and contribution
in eompromise settlement of all claims of the City of Saint Panl arising
out of, the claim of John A. Connelly.
