_ �Thereas, The Council of the City of Saint Paul has
daly canvassed the returns of the votes cast on the Special
Ordiriance, C.F. N0. 220034� at the Special Election_held in
said City on the 3rd da� of November, 1964�, pursuant to: the
provisions of Sec. 201. of the City Charter, and �`�
+Whereas, It appears from said re�urns and the
can.vass thereof that 52,366 electors voted in favor of �the
rat5.fication of said�Special Ordinance a�1 52, 132 eleetors
voted against the ratification and adoption thereof, and
Whereas, Section 201.4 of the City Charter provides
that a ma�ority of the votes cast at the election on the
- qaestion must ratify the Special Ordinance before said
,. Special Ordinance becomes effective, therefore , be it
$esolaed, That the proposed Special Ordinance,
C.F. N0. 220034 is herebp declared to have received the '
necessary ma�ority of votes cast, and therefore to ha,ve
