� Gentlemen:
A statement of expenses has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 46'7-9-71-3 State Street, Saint Paul, described as Ex-
cept South 3 feet Lot 8, and Except West 40 feet of Lots 9 and
10, Blcok 68, Town of West Saint Paul Proper. The property
is owned by
Arthur K. Wurdemann, 838 Lincoln Ave. , St. Paul 4
�� Detroit Lakes, Minnesota
� Co-Trustees : Dayid E. Marsden, 1711 Lincoln Ave. , St. Paul 5
Jos. L. Abrahamson, 1032 Midland Bk.Bldg. , Mpls.
In this matter the following resolutions were adopted by the City
Council:
� C.F. 217313, adopted by the Council April 1, 1964 (published I
April 4, 1964� set a public hearing at 10 A. M. April 28, 1964.
C.F. 217847 adopted by the Council, April 29, 1964 (published
May 2, 1964� ordered the wrecking by and at the separate cost
and expense of the owner, occupant, or other person in control
th,ereof.
C.F. 218574, adopted by the Council June 9, 1964 (published June '
13, 1964) directed the Commissioner of Parks And Recreation And �
Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove ;
the eight-plex thereon, and do any and all things therein neces- ,
. sary for the protection of life, limb, and adjoining property. I

C.F . 219238, adopted by the Council July 15, 1964 (published I
' July 19, 1964) approyed the specifications prepared by the City I
Architect for the wrecking of this building and authorized the ,
Purchasing Agent to adyertise for bids. ,
C.F. 219620, adopted by the Council August 13, 1964 (published
August 15, 1964) approved the award of the coritract for wreck- !
ing to A. Kamish Co. for the sum of $925.00 in accordance with j
specifications and Formal Bid No. 9905. ;

C.F. 220910, adopted by the Council December 3, 1964 (publish- i
ed December 5, 1964) provided that the wrecking expense of i
$925.00 and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation j
_ And Public Buildings in connection with the condemnation in I
t�ie amount of $57.66, making a total of $982.66, be paid out f
of Wrecking Buildings-Demolition Account of the General Fund !
0976-256 and, in the event said sum proves collectible from �
the owner, same is to be credited to this account. f

The building has been satisfactorily wrecked and a Registered �
Bill mailed to the owners. I
We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten �
days' notice to consider any complaints about the expenses
;
incurred and to confirm the amount. The Council resolution �
confirming the -expense should end with a directive -t� the City
Clerk to file a statement of expense for the purpose of secur-
ing a lien on the property.
