WFIEREA.S, Under authority of C.F. No. 218650, approved June 11, 196�+,
contract was authorized for",�onstruction of the Arch-Pennsylvania Highway
from Rice Street to I.S. 1Vo. 35E; and
WHEREA.S, Under au-�hority of C.F. No. 219109, approved Ju1y !8, 196�+
� the contract �or the construction of the Arch-Pennsylvania Highway from
Rice Street to I.S. No. 35E wa,s awarded to the Pa1da & Sons, Inc., contractor,
and construction is now substantially complete; and
- WHERE�iS, It is now desired to erect a �+8 inch chain link �abric fence
- on top of the wall constructed on the southeast corner of Axch Street and
Jackson Street for protection to the public; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to have City Forces order m�terials as required and to erect
t�he chain link fabric fence on top of said wa1.7. at an estimated cost of
�250.00, in accorda'nce with Bridge Department drawing Dr. No. 133, dated
- February, �g65; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the proper City o�ficials be and they are
' hereby authorized and directed to charge the cost for such materials and
erection of chain link �abr3.c �ence by City Forces to P.I.R. Fund 6000,
Comptroller's Contract I,-6367-16, to be reimbursed from Cit�s share of
