The RCD will provide funding to implement this project, but are unable to ma.nage a competiuve bid process. IF approved, Public Works, with the assistance of Pazks and Recreation, will kure a contractor and install the raingazden by December 1, 2006. AdvantageslfApproved: The raingarden will filter a small portion of stormwater before it erners Saint Paul's groundwater supply. THe rainguden also will add an educational and interpretarive component to Hillcrest Knoll Prk. DisadvantageslfApproved: Public W orks must agee to maiutain the raingaxden fox a period of 10 years.
