WHEREAS, it is necessary to schedule examinations for the
positions of "Junior City Planner"-' and 'Assistant City Planner", and
WHEREAS, it -is highly unlikely that a sufficient list can be

established from among residents of the City of St. Paul: therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the residence requirements for admission to
examinations as provided in Section 10 D of the Civil Service Rules are
hereby waived for the first examinations for "'Junior City Planner" and
"Assistant City Planner" to be held following passage of this resolution;
date of the examinations to be set at the discretion of the Chief Civil
Service Examiner.
