RESOLVED, That the Council of'the City of Saint Paul
hereby approves:

A BILL FOR AN ACT
AUTHORIZING A CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN LANDS
FROM THE STATE TO THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL AND
PROVIDING FOR A RELEASE OF CERTAIN CONDITIONS
AND RESTRICTIONS CONTAINED IN A PRIOR DEED FROM
THE STATE TO THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING A SALE
THEREOF BY THE CITY UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. /CONVEYANCE TO CITY OF -SAINT PAUL; RELEASE OF
CONDITIONS IMPOSED Th DEED FROM STATE; AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF
BY CITY UPON CERTAIN CONDITIONS 7 The governor and the auditor
in behalf of the state of Minnesota shall convey to the city of
Saint Paul, Minnesota without consideration, by quit claim deed,
• in a form approved by the attorney general, the following real
estate lying and being in the county of Ramsey.:.
All of Blocks 9 and 10 and the vacated areas and streets
within and abutting thereon in D..W. Ingersollts Addition
to the city of S t.. Paul according to the accepted and
recorded plat thereof on file in-the office of the
register of deeds of Ramsey county.
The deed to be so executed and delivered by the state of
Minnesota to the city-of St. Paul shall recite that it is
executed to forever release and discharge the above described
real estate from those express conditions
imposed upon said land by the state of Mi;
deed of conveyance dated October 10, 1912
in the office of the register of deeds in
Minnesota in book 597 of deeds, page 139,

from the state of Minnesota to the city of Saint Paul, Minnesota
executed and delivered by the state of Minnesota'to the city of
Saint Paul, Minnesota pursuant to Laws 1911, Chapter 163, which
deed conveyed to the city of Saint Paul said premises and
additional land.
The city of Saint Paul is authorized to sell and convey
the land herein described, as it deems advisable at its discretion,
for the fair market value thereof, to The Lutheran Church- Missouri
Synod, as the corporation holding title to real property for
the use and benefit of Concordia College, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
• for educaticnal and /or recreational purposes, subject to the
conditions and restrictions that no fence, building or structure

shall be placed, constructed or maintained upon said lands
and that the children of the city of Saint Paul shall have
the use of said lands for playground and recreational purposes
when said lands are not in use by the grantee.
