Hage's 1) appeal for a waiver of the 8 foot parking lot buffer requirement, and 2) application for a permit for a 14 car off - street parking facility in conjunction with a commercial development on property located at the soutbwest corner of No. Robert Street and Central Avenue which is described as the north 170 feet of the east -1/2 of Block' 7, Rearr. —V B�o` cks 6 ar* 7� Central Park�en, The property ,s�zoned'commercial. In order to develop the southerly portion of the site with a 14 car off - street parking lot, it will be necessary to_ secure a waiver by the Council of the 8 foot buffer requirement wbere'such a parking lot adjoins a resi- dential use. The compliance with tliis - regulation would reduce the capacity of the parking lot to six cars. The Board of Zoning considered- tbis'matter�at its regular meeting on Novem- ber 5, 1964.1 The staff reported that the applican't's parking lot plan met all of the standards for this type of facility witb the exception of the 8 foot buffer; and bad been approved by the Traffic Engineer. The staff stated that the requested waiver was reasonable, as'tbe parking facility would not be used evenings or Sundays,and it -did not appear that it would bave a detrimental effect on the adjoining 'residential use. The Board of Zoning concurred with the opinion of the staff,,and tberefore recommends the granting of the waiver of the 8 foot buffer and tbe: application for a permit for a 14 car,off- street parking loot on the above described property in accordance with final plans to be furnished by,tbe applicant.
