RESOLVED, That the St. Paul Hilton Hotel, as owner of
the subject premises, be permitted to install and operate
a 232 car parking ramp in conjunction with the new hotel now
under construction on property located on the north side of
Kellogg Boulevard between Wabasha and Cedar Streets, more
particularly described as follows:
"That part of Lots Seven (7) and Eight (8) in Block
Twenty -three (23), City of Saint Paul, according to the
plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the
Register of Deeds in and for said County of Ramsey and
State of Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at
a point on the Westerly line of Lot 8 in said Block 23,
the same being the Easterly line of Wabasha Street in the -'
City of Saint Paul, distant 65.2+ feet Southerly from the
Northwesterly corner of said Lot 8; thence Southerly

This is in reply to the referral of the application of the St. Paul
Hilton Hotel for a permit to install and operate a.232 car parking
ramp in conjunction with the new 'hotel now under construction on
property located on the north side�of Kellogg Boulevard between Wabasha
and Cedar Streets. The property is zoned commercial, and a copy of
,the legal description is attached.-
The Board of Zoning considered this matter at its regular meeting on
November 11, 1964. The staff "reported that the plan for the parking
ramp met the standards_for this type of facility and had been approved
by the Traffic Engineer%subject to moving the.ticket' dispenser as close
as possible to the foot of the ramp to the second parking level, and
the widening-of the street curb along the Wabasha Street frontage.
The City Council granted an informal approval -of this application on
November 20,- 1964. -
In consideration of these factors, thevBoard,of Zoning recommends
the granting of the permit fora 232 car parking ramp subject to the
recommendations of the Traffic Engineer as outlined,above.
