Gerber Jr., City Clerk Building Dear Sir: This is in the matter of the applicaton'of the Midas Corporation to install and operate a 74 car off - street parking lot on property - located on the,west side of Wabasha_Street and the south side of Exchange Street which is described as,the #Z�W 2/3 of Lots 3, 4, and the east J of Lot 5; except the N. 2.5 feet of the east 30 feet of the NW 125 feet, Lot 2 and the south 50 feet of the north 75 -feet of Lot 1, all being part of Block 8, Bazink and Guexin`-s Addition ghbe property is zoned commercial. This property has for many years been used as an off- street parking lot. The - purpose of this application is to legalize same and also secure approvalof`'an enlargement to said lot. The Board of Zoning considered this matter at its regular meeting on June 4, 1964, at which time the staff reported that the plans did not.meet all of the standards for this type of facility. The Board.recommended approval of the application subject to the revis- ing of the plan as necessary to meet all of the standards. On November 12, 1964 final plans were received which have been approved by the Traffic Engineer and the Planning Board staff. The Board of Zoning, therefore, recommends the granting of the application for a 74 car off- street parking lot on the above described property in accordance with revised final plans dated November 12; 1964.. j Sincerely, B.
