Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and the Departrnent of Public Works aze proud of our employees, facilities and services and
wish to invite the public to an open house on Tuesday, May 23, 200b from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and;
Whereas, our guests look forwazd to this event to obtain up-to-date information from the Department of Public Works, other
Departments of the Ciry of Saint Paul, Stace and County Agencies and other couununity groups that participate in having a
display booth, all of which will provide a valuable public purpose to the citizens of Saint Paul, and;
Whereas, the Department will distribute maps and informaaonal materials, provide a food concession, offer entertainment, and
awazd door prizes to our guesu, and;
Whereas, the Department will provide snacks and shirts with the Department logo for employees who have volunteered co
pazticipate in the open house, and;
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the proper City officials aze hereby authorized to pay expenses incurred to host this event.
Cost not to exceed $20,000.
